Rocky Mountain Hot Air, LLC., is your Colorado connection for hot air balloon rides, flight instruction, FAA certified service and repair, and ballooning information. We carry a full line of inflation fans and cages, propellers, and Honda engines. We also specialize in solving those unique customer needs for a particular "one-off" part or piece of equipment. We offer hot air balloon rides in the Colorado area, and travel to many hot air ballooning events across the country. Our "home" field is Chatfield State Park and Recreation Area, in southwest Denver, but we will fly just about any location on request. We have been catching currents in the Denver area for almost 25 years. Our operation features an impeccable safety record, top of the line ballooning equipment, and thousands of hours of flight experience. Rocky Mountain Hot Air, LLC., is now proud to announce that we are one of the United States dealers for Kubicek (pronounced Koo-bee-check) Balloons, manufactured in the Czech Republic, Europe. At Rocky Mountain Hot Air, LLC., we offer gift certificates and special occasion balloon flights. We also have an ordained Reverend on staff should you choose to "tie the knot" while in the basket. Chatfield State Park hosted Al Roker and his Today show crew for the filming of a “Live for Today” segment for the show. The balloon launch site at the park served as headquarters to the crew as they filmed a hot air balloon ride for this special segment of the show.
